What is a Community Foundation?

A community foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) publicly supported organization serving the needs of the community
through donations for the betterment of the community and improving the quality of life of its citizens. Community
foundations build permanent endowment funds and use a portion of income derived from the funds to support various
nonprofits through grants and special projects to improve the community it serves.

The mission of Intercession City Heritage Foundation (ICHF) is to make Intercession City and Osceola County a better
place to live and work by enhancing the quality of life and improving the economic and social needs of Intercession City
and other needy communities in Osceola County.

ICHF serves to enhance the quality of community life and achieve
neighborhood revitalization through grants and comprehensive community projects.
